About John  
John Keegan is a Class A PGA Professional based in Morris, Illinois where he is the Director of Golf at Morris Country Club.  Following tournament play as a junior golfer, collegiate player and amateur, John joined the PGA of America in 1988 at age 21 and became a full Class A member of the PGA in 1992.

Serving as Head Professional or Director of Golf at Morris Country Club and/or Nettle Creek Country Club in Morris since 1988, John has a passion for customer service.  This passion is evident in all areas of the golf operation from member relations and golf instruction to tournaments and event coordination.

John has been nominated for the Illinois PGA Teacher of the Year Award on 6 occasions and received the prestigious award in 2003.  He has also been nominated for the Illinois PGA Junior Golf Leader of the Year Award on 6 different occasions and also received that PGA Award in 2003.  The Junior Camps at Morris Country Club continue to grow and bring new young players to the great game of golf.
He is a member of the PGA President’s Council to Grow the Game, a PGA Magazine Travel Ambassador, an iClub Staff Member, and a former Illinois Junior Golf Association Board Member and IJGA Tournament Committee Chairman.  Locally, John has served on an advisory committee conducting a Morris Area Park District feasibility study and has sat on the Grundy Area Vocational Center Blue Chip advisory board.

His passion for the game drives John to offer the finest golf experiences to his clientele.  He strongly advocates the PGA mantra of “Making Golf a Better Game”.   He continues to strive to exceed the expectations of his students and members.
